The good news? You wake up rich and famous. The bad news? You don’t remember how it happened.

Lish Lewis’s life has gone to the dogs. The 30-year-old dog walker from Palmetto Island, South Carolina can't pay her rent and her stress-induced dissociative amnesia is getting worse. One evening she waxes on the meaning of life from the perspective of her dog Cooper and posts her musings to YouTube. That’s the last thing she remembers.

Fast forward several months and her life is completely unrecognizable. She now lives in Asheville, headquarters to a self-help publishing company who’s been grooming her to be a dog loving guru and has paid her a huge advance based on her video called “Tails From the Bridge.”

Her unexpected rise to fame and fortune means she can eventually achieve her dream of a low-cost dog health clinic, but she still has problems aplenty. Like why won’t her best friend Blossom speak to her anymore? And did she sleep with the nerdy and evasive guy at Stinky Kisses, a dog shelter where they both volunteer? But most importantly, what if her fame unearths an unforgiveable moment from her past? The one that caused her amnesia condition in the first place?
