Dominic Graham is a total showboat if Somerset University has ever seen one. As a star player on the school's hockey team, he's used to lapping up the attention and reveling in the admiration of 'puck bunnies' who are willing to risk it all for one night with him. But any old puck bunny won't do; Dominic has his eyes on Layla, the Seagulls' team manager.
Layla hasn't been paying Dominic any mind, so Dom recruits the help of his best girl friend, Maisie.
After confiding in Maisie and letting her know that Layla seems to be the only girl on campus who won't give Dom the time of day, Maisie comes up with an idea. Maisie suggests that all they have to do is pretend to be in a relationship. If they put on a convincing performance, Layla is sure to be jealous and give Dom a chance. After all, everyone wants what they can't have, right?
Will Layla give Dom the time of day when she sees how in-demand he is? Or will a fake plan drudge up very real feelings?
This short read is a contemporary new adult hockey romance featuring fake dating, the friends to lovers trope, and a steamy HEA.
Genre: Romance
