When Lexi, a top defense lawyer in Seattle, is presented with a cut and dry murder case that shows her client's guilt, she expects to try and get him a reduced sentence. What she doesn't bank on is the immediate attraction she feels to her client and the fact that she believes that he is innocent.

Mitchell, the alpha of his dragon pack, must find a way to prove his innocence to Lexi - without revealing his true nature or telling her where he really was at the time of the murder. As he gets to know Lexi, he begins to see that he wants her to be much more than his lawyer, as his dragon instincts tell him she's meant to be his mate.
