After delivering a herd of prime longhorn cattle to the railhead town of McCoy, and being paid off in gold, Gene Adams and his crew headed back to Texas - a job well done. But soon they were ambushed and were lucky to escape with their lives. Worse still, they discovered their gold had been stolen somewhere along the trail. Gene and his men set off for a deadly showdown - with all the odds stacked against them.
