Being an IT tech was all Jay thought hed ever know. So when hes kidnapped and brought to a strange world for the entertainment of so-called deities, well... you can imagine his surprise.
Jay had never contemplated gods before, but now he must compete to become one in the Celestial Tournament. He just has to make sure he doesnt die to bloodthirsty monsters, falling down dark chasms, and morally bankrupt fellow contestants along the way. Good thing this world operates like the RPGs hes always loved to play, complete with bizarre new powers and an omnipresent System to run it all.
Only one problem: losing means death, and there are no restarts. The only way out is to win, and the only way to win is to spill blood, both others and his own.
At least, thats what the mysterious new voice stuck in Jays head keeps telling him. A voice whose presence might be against tournament rules...
This book contains a lot of violence, mentions of sexual assault, and people in a bad situation doing what they must to survive. Reader discretion advised.
Genre: Fantasy
