Hannah Campbell was born and raised a Fitzpatrick, with all the feisty nosiness that DNA brings, and her cousins, Maggie and Claire, are her best friends. Animal rescue is Hannah's passion, and while pursuing a stray, she stumbles upon a murder victim who looks a little familiar.

While Rose Hill's police chief, Scott Gordon, is officially investigating the crime, Hannah and her cousins are determined to get involved. Mysterious incidents begin to happen as they get closer to the truth, and after their little investigation brushes up against a much bigger conspiracy, their old friend FBI agent Therese pays a visit.

Meanwhile, Hannah and Sam's son, Sammy, has gotten himself into a mighty pickle of a mess, and of course, Mama Hannah only wants to help him out. Torn between rescuing him or allowing him to figure it out, Hannah walks a fine line as she feels her way forward. Her husband Sam is not being as helpful as she thinks he ought to be, causing conflict that threatens their hard-won marital accord.

It's early spring in Rose Hill, and the emotional weather is just as volatile as the extreme daily temperature changes.

Tulip Street is #14 in the Rose Hill Mystery Series.
