Murder was never this crazy!
Witty, hilarious, clever plot that runs perfectly with the love story. I smiled, laughed, cried a little. Great characters, beautifully balanced book. RTGs best to date.
Meet RC and Fi, two interplanetary homicide detectives whose patch is a lot bigger than most police departments. Mismatched in almost every way possible, their relationship is as complicated as the cases they solve.
A native New-Yorker brought up the hard way, RC just about makes five-foot-two, says exactly what she thinks in her own unique style, has an inbuilt hatred for authority, loves cyberpunk fashion, and would rather live in the 21st Century.
Fi grew up in Windsor, England, in a wealthy military family, is five-foot-eleven, speaks very properly, has a massive respect for authority, loves her uniform, and wishes it was the 23rd century, not the 22nd.
And yet somehow their relationship works... in more ways than one. Theres a bit more to their partnership than just crime fighting. Much to RCs delight and Fis dismay, theyve well and truly broken the IPPDs rule number one.
It all began one fateful and life-changing day, when Fi was introduced to her new partner...
*Just so you know, Ballistic does contain scenes of a sexual nature.
