Product Description

Author Rena George's crime solving magazine editor, Loveday Ross, is back in another Cornish murder mystery. This 12,500 word short story was previously published as 'Captured in Cornwall' This new, enhanced version has an exciting extra chapter.

Tucked away down a beautiful Cornish creak, and overlooking an exclusive yacht mooring, the old Swan Inn should have been the perfect spot for a romantic meal for two.

...Except that it wasn't!

The inn was neglected, and derelict - and something strange was going on behind its shuttered windows.

And what did the mysterious tall-masted ship anchored in the mist at the bend of the creak have do with it?

Join Magazine editor Loveday Ross, and her policeman boyfriend, Detective Inspector Sam Kitto, back on the trail of another mystery...

Book Description

Believing that the remote Black Swan Inn, with it's idyllic waterside location, could provide a romantic feature for her Cornish magazine, editor Loveday Ross, accepts an invitation to go along and interview Marika Sweet, the woman who claims to be its owner.

But the inn is not the idyllic creak-side hostelry Loveday had imagined.

It's a dirty, derelict, boarded up building.

And there’s no sign of Marika, only a kindly old lady, Millicent Sproat, who reveals the inn is now in the hands of notorious local criminals, the Clemo brothers.

Not even a painful crack on the head when she goes snooping inside the shuttered inn can deter Loveday's insatiable journalistic curiosity.

Her policeman boyfriend, Detective Inspector Sam Kitto, warns her to leave the unsavoury brothers for the police to deal with. But that's not Loveday's way.

Then there's a murder ... and more people start getting hurt.

Could the Clemos' old sailing ship, the Arabella, provide the key to solving the mystery?
