Angelique in Love

On a vessel seething with unregulated emotions, Angelique is caught between her regard for Maitre Berne, her master and friend among the La Rochelle Protestants whom she has helped to escape from the king's dragoons, and her fascination for the enegmatic Rescator, pirate and renegade who had bought her for a king's ransom in the slave markets of Candia, only to see her escape into further perils.
