The House by the River

Danny Flanders leads a comfortable life as a bookstore owner. His Labs, Happy and Biff, bring joy to his life, as do family and friends. While a messy divorce has left Danny gunshy, an unexpected encounter with Roseanne, a strangely shy, awkward woman, generates an undeniable spark. Roseanne wastes no time insinuating herself into Danny’s world as he grows enchanted with her mystifying behavior, even beguiled by her secrecy, in spite of persistent warnings from his friends and family to back away, and quickly. As Roseanne’s efforts increase to weave her spell over Danny, he begins to have more questions than answers. He is determined to discover if her closely guarded secrets are simply self-protection or if they conceal a cunning pattern of deception.
