Desolation

The shadow of war has lifted, but a new darkness gathers to the north.

Alex is victorious, the army marching towards his new home defeated. The cost was high, a gigantic monster unleashed into the world whilst the countryside was burnt to a cinder. Now he’s left picking through the ashes and trying to keep his home safe.

A bold new idea sends Alex and his friends west on a secret journey, their mission a first step towards forging a permanent peace with the fanatics in the wilds. Their former foes have problems of their own, a powerful force moving against them.

Opposing groups are grasping at power, putting their pieces into place ready for the endgame. An iron grip threatens to throttle Alex’s new home whilst the forces that brought him to this strange other world are expanding their empire. The aether lands will never be the same
