When Jennifer Marsh goes to ask Giles, the handsome French racing driver, for financial assistance for her twin brother, she unknowingly stirs up a hornet's nest. Giles appears to be recovering well from a serious accident, but he is moody and unpredictable. First he invites Jennifer to his home in France, then he drives her away with a bitterness and cruelty she cannot begin to understand.
