Sam and the Sheriff

Sheriff Ned Garman patrols his jurisdiction with Justus, his horse of many colors, and Sam, his loyal and shaggy dog. Together, the three make a perfect team. When a herder from Lars Ingevold's sheep ranch is gunned down, Garman is straight on the trail of the culprit, and concludes that the killer tried to implicate the Shoshone Indians in the crime. But Ingevold, constantly squabbling with the neighboring cattle ranch over grazing rights, suspects the I Bar W is responsible. It seems that somebody's aiming to spark a range war...
