Season of Innocence

During her years of innocence in the Edwardian era, Alexa bears a child, the dazzling and wayward Marguerite. The father of Marguerite is Emsley Carr, the son of a local baronet. When her young Aunt Vere marries Sir Arnold Carr, Emsley's father, Alexa is drawn into their privileged circle. Coping with the difficulties concerning Marguerite's parentage, Alexa eventually finds the love of her life.
