Shadow of the Apocalypse
(2019)(The second book in the Lilith Chronicles series)
A novel by D L Harrison
Lily woke up six months ago in a hospital bed. She was heavily malnourished, atrophied to the point she couldn't walk, and the only survivor of a massacre. She also doesn't remember a thing about her past.
It'd been a couple of weeks since she discovered the supernatural world. She felt like she fit in, but still struggled to regain her memories. Between hunting down evil, sparring practice, and learning to be a witch, she also finds out what she can about her past. Problem is, her past is nothing but legend, but she hopes there'll be enough truth in it to stir her memories.
Then everything changes, as the threat of a warlock rises to the south. One who managed to take out another team of hunters, and it's their job to stop the warlock before their plan comes to fruition. Whatever that plan may be.
If that wasn't enough, she's slowly falling for Jacob, the alpha shifter and leader of their team. Which is complicated, to say the least.
Author's note: This is the second book in an urban fantasy trilogy. There will be no major cliffhangers, but there will be several plot threads left unresolved until the final book. There are mature situations, but no explicit scenes in this book.
Genre: Urban Fantasy
