Apathetic serial killer Myron Langford finds a new inspiration... Horror director Draco Dracula announces a contest in which the best-staged photograph of a horror scene will win a spot in his next blockbuster film. His desire to kill rekindled, Myron plans a murder spree from Austin to Los Angeles - the perfect way to capture gruesome photographs. Detectives Cody Fellows and Shawn Rowe investigate a killer dubbed The Director... The Director - Myron - leaves a grisly photo as his signature, and when Cody gets into a scuffle with his bookie and kills him, he stages the scene to appear as if The Director is responsible. There's only one thing wrong with his scheme - Cody learns his wife has been having him followed. Leaving a trail of ghastly scenes in his wake, Myron encounters an unlikely ally... Caren is a hitchhiker with an unsavory lifestyle, but she still demands respect. When she finds Myron's crimes hysterical rather than horrifying, he decides to take Caren along for the ride, and the killing spree continues. Will the thrill kills continue to claim the innocent - and not so innocent - victims?
