This had to be the universe playing tricks on me.

Imagine this:
I take my car and escape my nightmare of a wedding.
I end up at a ranch that hosts beautiful weddings.
And fall in love with the billion-dollar cowboy who runs it.

Who is this wreck of a person, you ask?

Hi, I am Natalie, and I am a….
Runaway bride and a famous country music star.
And all of that makes my life, and this escape,
extremely complicated.
Bo doesn’t do complicated.
Especially not after he was dumped at the altar years ago.
To him, I probably look like the ghost of disaster past
and the gift of catastrophe future.

For what it’s worth, I don’t want fall in love either.
Been there, done that… clearly didn’t work out.
But like I said, the universe is playing tricks on me.
And Bo fits right into the fairy-tale that I’ve kept hidden inside my head all these years.

That same fairy-tale will be put to test when my problems come looking for me at the ranch.

Then I’ll have to pick one of two options:
Face my past or run away from my future.
