A Death at St. Anselm's

On the surface St Anselm's Church was a model of Christian values, its wealthy New York congregation dedicated to doing all kinds of good deeds for those less fortunate than themselves. But where were faith, hope and charity the day the church treasurer was found in the parish house slumped over a desk, his face covered with blood? Someone, it seemed, had used an expensive brass bookend to bring his life to a violent, ungodly close. . .
