Former Special Forces Captain Nate Hale is called to scene of a gruesome murder at a hotel, outside the wealthy horse racing town of Union Springs. One of the daughters of the ultra rich has had her head splattered across a wall by a shotgun, something he hasn't seen since his days in the service. Hales' contact on the Union Springs PD asks him in on the job, and ghosts from his military past quickly intrude, in the shape of a drop dead gorgeous woman who is handy with a gun, and a brutal former comrade in arms.
