Jacqueline Holland grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and Southern California. She attended college in Chicago, moved with artist husband, Peter Holland, from Chicago to Honduras, Minneapolis, New York City, Lawrence and Kansas City, back to Chicago, and then back to the Twin Cities, with first one son along for the ride, then another. She holds an M.F.A. from The University of Kansas, and her short fiction has been published and recognized in a variety of magazines and contests. Her debut novel, The God of Endings, is forthcoming from Flatiron Books, and will be translated into Spanish with Umbriel/Uranus, and Russian with Arcadia Publishing.
