The Thunder-Pup

Linnie McKay can hardly wait for her tenth birthday. She thinks she'll be getting a puppy. But things start going wrong in the weeks before her birthday. She's afraid of thunderstorms, has to deal with a houseguest whom she doesn't like, and then doesn't get the surprise she expects. During another thunderstorm, Linnie begins to discover what growing up is about and how lucky she really is.
