The Soft Room

Abby and Meg are identical twins with one major exception: Meg was born with a rare disease that render her imperviouis to physical pain. Childhood disdain regarding her physical imperviousness grows into a pre-teen haughtiness verging on demi-goddess until the family is economically forced by her father's cancer to submit her to paying medical research. Suddenly, Meg is just one of many abnormals, and as when a solitary high school genius is thrown into a select university setting of hundreds of geniuses, the plot thickens.
