After a chance encounter in a private room at The Black Door, Brooks begins to doubt every choice hes made, while Tate embarks on a relentless pursuit to recreate the best night of his life.

Brooks
I’m the same as the rest of my friends, but also nothing like them. Handsome as many and richer than most, getting men to come home with me has never been a problem. At least, not until I meet Tate Barlowe at The Black Door. He’s younger and less experienced, but more than willing. He also sneaks out before I can get his phone number, leaving me to rethink everything between us.

Tate
After months of trying and failing to lose my virginity, I decide a little lie is in order. Astor Brooks basically falls into my lap, so falling into his bed is the easy choice. I’m not after a relationship, and even though he wants me to stay when we’re done, I don’t see the need. The problem, I later find out, is that Brooks is one of a kind in every way.

Leaving Brooks high and dry was a bad decision, but once again fate brings us together, and I’m ready for another chance. The problem is, I lied to him about more than one thing, and Brooks won’t take what he doesn’t trust.

I want Astor Brooks, and I’m not giving him up without a fight. I’ve never met a man like him, and I never will again, but he’s never met a man like me either. The way he loves is like nothing I’ve ever experienced, and even though he makes me cry, I like it. I love it. I love him. There’s so much in this world outside of our control, but when I’m on my knees for him, everything makes sense. Now, I just have to make sure he feels the same.
