Katherine Harlow

I live in Kent, the garden of England, with my husband and two young children.

There is somewhat of a Cinderella story in my family. My father’s side were land owners, and it gives me great pleasure to visit the country house, now a small hotel, where my grandmother grew up. My mother, on the other hand, was the first in her family to leave her small northern town and attend university. Their love story has always inspired me.

My first love was historical romance and period drama, and I prefer stories with believable characters and plot lines. In my writing, I aim to hold the readers’ interest with wit, tension, and of course… a bit of steam! My heroes are not white knights, however. They all have a dark energy about them… all the better to watch them come around. ;)

I received some accolades and won some awards for my writing in my early years. Notorious is my debut novel; the first in a three part series titled – Agents of Ruin. Enjoy!
