Tash Mallory is grappling with knitting store ownership when the construction site opposite uncovers a body in the foundations. Soon the whole town is at their knit's end as the police scramble to identify the victim, all of them certain a bloodthirsty killer is on the loose.

With a new employee—Drew Donnelly—to show the ropes, corpses aren't the only thing on Tash's mind. But when Drew's father (and Tash's old high-school flame) is cast into the pool of suspects, she's determined to untangle the threads of the crime.

As trustworthy friends, old and new, rally to help, Tash soon discovers dead bodies aren't the only secrets lurking in the shadows. When a new murder casts fuel onto the fire, she must track down the culprit or all of Patiti might be hanging by a yarn.
