Heath Hampstead FC is dominating the league, and as goalkeeper I’m being interviewed for a series of articles.
The reporter has eyes the colour of whiskey, a killer smile, and the ability to smash what’s left of my fragile heart into pieces. Again.
My life was supposed to be set. Dream job, financial stability, and the woman of my dreams on my arm.
But my mum warned me, be careful what you wish for.
Dreams can be shattered. And apparently all it takes is one reporter willing to put her trust and morals aside for the inside scoop, while you were blissfully unaware you were the story.
Did it matter I was falling for her?
