Laura Hopper was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. After graduating UCLA, she worked in the entertainment business. Laura was an independent producer and manager, where she cultivated the careers of screenwriters and authors. In 2012, Laura became an Executive Editor for Disney Publishing. At Disney, she develops and edits all books connected to ABC television, ESPN, and Freeform.
After fostering the works of other writers, Laura tried her hand at writing. Inspired by Judy Blume’s FOREVER, she wrote I NEVER, a sex-positive YA romance.
Laura lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two teenaged children.
