Brian had no idea his life was about to change when he stopped to help two cowhands having a helluva time getting an ornery longhorn out of some quicksand. When the crisis had passed, the two were so impressed with Brian's work, they offered him a job as foreman of their ranch. A longtime drifter, Brian wasn't too sure about putting down roots in any one place. But with the impending threat of a Cheyenne attack and a mysterious rustler who wanted to put the Forked P out of business. Brian might not have to worry about sticking around for long...
