Why had the famous sculptor Jason Carver insisted that Linzi Barwick be the model for his latest commission? He had, after all, had to trick her into the whole thing; she would never have gone into it voluntarily. Surely, after the way she had jilted him and walked out on him tive years ago, it was hardly possible that he now had any feelings left for her. But Linzi soon realised that, whatever Jason might or might not feel, the jealous, devious Ceri Penrhys was going to see that nothing came of it!
