Vivian was a rarity, a female novice studying alchemy a male dominated craft.
The world was gripped in a deadly pandemic plague. Nothing the alchemists had come up with had helped. But perhaps, just perhaps, in a relatively unexplored part of the world would be a clue to a cure.
A quick-read novelette of adventure, some high-stakes action, and a little romance thrown in.
