Annabelle's Monsters

Annabelle Andrews' world is falling apart. Her mother is sick, the class nerd, Leroy Ludlum, has become a permanent attachment, and her friends are treating her as though she has a bad case of head lice. When Leroy tells Annabelle that there's a monster living in the basement furnace at St. Hedwig's Elementary School, Annabelle thinks that Leroy is stark raving mad. But then things begin to disappear. Annabelle's best friend is convinced that a shadow is following her, and the bones of a long-ago-missing janitor surface in the cellar. Suddenly, Annabelle doesn't think Leroy is crazy anymore. The question looming in front of Annabelle - can she defeat the monster before he destroys everything that matters to her?
