The first time I met Morgan Springs, I had lost a bet. My cousin Cody forced me to order something different from the menu on game day.
I wasn’t about to risk it when we were already on a losing streak. I convinced Morgan, the new—and might I add hot as sin—sous-chef to disguise my usual order into something new.
She didn’t stick to the original recipe exactly, but it didn’t matter. We ended up winning, which meant she was my lucky charm.
When she refused my offer to become my private chef, I had no choice but to make it happen at all costs.
