Agents of Influence

Keith Sterling, secret service agent, survivor of a night of disaster in London when he had failed to pick up information from the head of the Far Eastern Section on the secret blackmail of several leading Westerners by the Chinese, has now arrived in Hong Kong behind an elaborate cover provided by his employers. With only one cryptic clue he has come to find out who is being blackmailed and for what purpose. Gradually the facts slot together with the intricacy of a Chinese puzzle.
