The Sutburys

By the beginning of the nineteenth century, the derelict estate of Fenfallow has fallen into the hands of the Sutburys, remote kinsmen of the family who once lived there. Their fortunes rise and fall with the feud between Felix Sutbury and his brother, Guy. Their quarrel affects future generations and is played out against a background of change and coming war. A century later, the family is still feuding over the fate of Fenfallow, the destiny of which is beyond their control.
