Early stories that are previously unpublished or have only been published in very obscure and implausibly ephemeral small-press publications from the early 1990s. These pieces sometimes misfire, backfire or simply catch fire, but they include a few twisted visions of genuine originality. Fantasy, science fiction and horror predominate but there are some curious comedies.
