Jonathan Deacon has a roving commission in the Special Investigation Branch of the Royal Military Police.
He is the man who polices the military.
But when one of his army friends, Imran Iqbal, is shot dead after going on an attempted killing spree with an automatic weapon in the Aldershot Garrison barracks, he has to investigate a case that is very close to home.
