In the Shadow of the Nile

Although Laura's widowed mother is not rich, she does manage to wheedle a trip down the Nile for herself and her two daughters, Laura and Margaret. But she has not reckoned on the effect of Egypt on Laura, nor on the power of her daughter's feeling when she falls in love with Prince Ahmed.
