The day Buck Buckley foils the Green River bank robbery is the day he becomes a hero with a capital 'H' - although the attention that follows is the last thing he wants or needs. Locals can't understand Buckley's resistance, but they do not know the secrets he is hiding. When his picture appears in the papers, his past begins to catch up with him.
