The city fathers wanted Amos to clean up Sawbuck Creek, but Gilligan wanted Amos dead because Sawbuck Creek was Gilligan's town. Amos was joined by his old friends, the New Yorker and Manuel, the Indian. Gilligan had other ploys, however - a kidnapped girl and a clan of Eastern killers. His vengeance became a two-edged sword, and his town almost died before the villains paid their dues in bullets.
