He has come a long way through the Circles, some of which aren’t even considered a part of the Empire, dubbed ‘the Prison Circles’ by the locals. He went beyond them, but he came back. The Heavens see everything, debts must always be paid, and loose ends must be tied.
The Order of the Heavenly Sword is hosting a tournament of local factions, but things aren’t going as planned. Did the Disirians think they had it all figured out? That the Order would lose, bow its head, and pay for its defeat with heritage and lands?
Naive. The Order’s youngest Commander has returned, and the tournament will not end as the Disirians have hoped.
We’ll see whose sword will break first in the arena.
