Dark Angel Riding

John Dancer was a drifting man. Following the trail to nowhere he came upon a pretty young woman weeping at her lynched husband's feet. Raiders had hit her ranch wanting everything the widow owned. Dancer had no choice but to lend Cassie Blythe a hand, but the web of deceit and murder on the range was too much for any man alone.When the night-raiders returned they came with guns blazing, and John was shot to pieces, left virtually a cripple. But Cassie still needed someone's help desperately and Dancer was determined to return to face the raiders. The bad men had cut him down, but they had underestimated him.
