Dante Braylon is a highly trained sniper, one of the Army’s best. He wakes up in a psychiatric ward, drugged and confused. As months pass him by in his drugged state, the world outside the VA hospital begins to crumble with the mysterious virus, ERV-Fc-001. His forced admittance to the hospital is suspect, his doctor uncooperative. As Dante tries to figure out who put him in the hospital, his fellow sniper and best friend, Omar, might just have the answers he needs. The two begin a long perilous journey with a Lucy, woman who believes she is an archangel and Violet, the nurse who helped Dante through his long incarceration at the hospital. The search for answers to his involuntary confinement is tempered by the extinction level virus. His world has changed and he must adapt. He will have his questions answered.
