BLURBZaya Kennedy has just received some bad news. Her father had a heart attack and had to undergo surgery. Her whole world seemed to crumble as her mother delivered the news; however, her mother is in high spirits. She assures Zaya that her father is in good hands and Zaya shouldn’t worry about coming to the hospital. Zaya wants to believe her mother but can’t help the feeling that she’s meant to be there. Against her mother’s orders, Zaya heads to the hospital.
Lincoln Perez is a dedicated, hard-working doctor. He always puts others first. That’s when he was called into emergency surgery on a patient suffering from heart complications. The surgery was a success and post-op is going great.
As Lincoln is about to leave, he can’t shake the nagging feeling that he needs to check on the patient one more time. He isn’t sure why… That is until he bumps into the beautiful mystery woman, who is en route to the patient’s room, and sparks instantly fly.
