Good clean tight sound square, no bookplate neat inscriptions to end-papers, light foxing to fore-edges of leaves. In black shadow-lettered and illustrated red cloth featuring classic Biggles image in flying hat and goggles, slightly bowed to upper, very gentle chipping to spine. A First Edition of these early tales in the Biggles canon and a welcome addition for the enthusiast.
