A Web to Catch a Spider

Small-time crook 'Tatt' Whyte had supplied vague information aboutan impending crime, and Detective Sergeant Nat Buxton was to find himself involved in the investigation of a large scale robbery, coupled with the murder of a colleague. The sketchiness of the information meant that the police were unable to take any effective measures and so the fat man, conceiver of the well planned raid, waited patiently for a safe period of time to elapse.
