Sunny Days at the Hummingbird Hotel
(2022)(The fifth book in the Hummingbird Hotel series)
A novel by Daisy James
Escape to the gorgeous island of Corfu with this wonderfully uplifting romantic comedy, the fifth book in a brand-new series from the author of The Cornish Confetti Agency and Villa Limoncello.
Welcome back to the Hummingbird Hotel!
Join Felix on his Good Karma retreat this summer.
When Abbie Coleman agrees to host the hotel’s first Good Karma retreat for a group of stressed-out lawyers, she’s not sure what to expect - the retreats she’s organised so far have certainly not been tranquil or serene. However, with all-round astrological guru Felix Morgan in charge, she hopes there’ll be a better than average chance of things going according to plan this time; no pink-haired guests, no underwear-munching goats, and no expensive watches taking an unscheduled dip in the swimming pool.
With meditation and massages, equine yoga and tai chi classes on the itinerary - not to mention a session of Ecstatic Dancing - surely their guests will end their week-long stay feeling calm, relaxed, and keen to sing the hotel’s praises to their family and friends.
But this is the Hummingbird Hotel, and using words like ‘smooth-sailing’ and ‘drama-free’ would breach the promotional marketing rules. So, when the pool takes on a suspicious crimson hue, and a guest’s cologne turns out to be less eau d’amour and more eau de manure, Abbie once again finds herself donning her metaphorical deerstalker to unravel the mystery and save the hotel’s reputation.
Can she turn chaos into contentment? Or will she have to hang up her hotelier hat and admit defeat?
Let Daisy James whisk you away to gorgeous Corfu with a feel-good holiday read filled with sun, sea and a sprinkle of romance. Perfect for fans of Mandy Baggot, Sue Roberts & Sandy Barker.
Genre: Romance
