Agnes and Jacob’s friendship evolves, and Agnes starts to reciprocate Jacob’s attraction, but as the two cautiously start talking of a future together a problem arises: Agnes is expecting Lawrence’s child.

It is set in a fictional medieval Danish court and about 80,000 words (300 pages) about friends to lovers, going from desire to hate, and facing brutal decisions regarding the future of your child, with a happily ever after.
