When a terrible winter storm batters Brighton even the Fitzgeralds are not spared from the havoc it wreaks. The destruction of Annie's chicken house by a piece of flying debris raises concerns that someone might be out in the storm and in in trouble. Heading to the rescue, Tommy, Clara and Captain O'Harris are greeted with a scene that is more comical than alarming. That is, until they start to help, and discover a body.
What first looked like a terrible accident, soon takes a sinister turn and the deeper Clara digs the more worried she becomes. When a second man turns up dead, the connection to the first death leads to fresh concerns, not least that it seems someone is plotting an assassination attempt on the King of England. Clara will have to race time to uncover the truth and prevent tragedy from befalling the town.
Storm in a Teacup is the 27th book in the Clara Fitzgerald series, published by Red Raven Publications.
Genre: Historical Mystery
