Sharing Christmas

Anna Larkin knows she has to make a change. Her home in Louisiana was destroyed in a fire, and there are no safe jobs in her town for a woman. So rather than suffer alone with the memories of lost loved ones, she will take a chance based on a few simple words in an advertisement: “Wife Wanted. Must love kids.” And soon, she is travelling to New Mexico to meet her new husband and family.

Since the death of his beloved wife, Carl Brooks has become a solitary man. But he knows his young daughters need a mother, so he has sent for a wife. Anna is kind and lovely, and his girls love her right away. But when Anna urges him to celebrate Christmas for his daughters, Carl is not so sure. Christmas reminds him of what he has lost and all he still could lose.

But Christmas is also a time for sharing, and with faith and love, we can all learn to share our hearts again.
