The Spring Baby

John Lanning is tired of being alone. He is doing well on his ranch now, and he is ready to share it with a wife and child of his own. So, at the urging of his friend, John places an ad for a mail-order bride. Soon, the letters from one Amanda Carpenter catch his eye and send her travelling west with her infant son to be his bride.

Amanda Carpenter is looking forward to her new life out West. Recently widowed, she believes her home with John Lanning is the fresh chance she and her son need.
